REWIRING, CHARLOTTE, NC
If you have ever walked towards your electrical panel and had a moment to ponder about your home wiring, then you have probably wondered why your lights aren't working, or what caused your lights to flicker. As we all know by this point, lights aren't working because of bad wiring or bad connections, but rather it's because the electricity is "leaking"... and this is usually caused by loose electrical connections.
Inevitably at some point you will realize you made a wrong turn or perhaps got distracted by your next project and didn't notice the "leaking" until it was too late. This is going to result in a short circuit and potentially a fire. It's important to note that all homes had better be wired with circuit breakers to protect occupants from any type of electrical problem such as a short circuit, or electrical short, fire, or electrical shocks.
The first thing you need to do is to locate your fuse panel and then locate where you believe your electricity is leaking to. You're going to need to shut off your main circuit breaker to isolate your circuits. If this proves impossible, turn off each circuit in your entire electrical panel then turn back on so that the circuit you wish to isolate is running at a reduced voltage. For safety, turn off all appliances and lights on this circuit you will need to be sure you isolate each breaker before turning it back on.
But we advise you NOT TO DO THIS ALONE! There are specialists that are waiting to assist you. Contact us, we assist in rewiring homes in the Charlotte NC area.
